Somehow, I have been blessed to capture some of the bluest of blue-eyed girls. First I had Kayla, then Olivia, and now sweet Abigail. And you can send me more anytime. (confession: I always wanted blue eyes growing up)
It’s been one year since Abigail arrived into this world, and she’s already brought so much joy to so many people, just like her name implies. My sister’s middle name is also Abigail, which means “Father’s Joy”. They chose that name because they wanted my sister to grow up to be the joy of her Heavenly Father, as well as her earthly father, and I know that Magen and Jason want the same thing for their Abigail.
You honestly can’t find a happier baby than Abigail. She loves her mama fiercely and gives kisses liberally. The way her eyes squint when she smiles is enough to melt a heart of stone.
The way her daddy smiles at her lets you know that she’s one of the most precious things in his life.
Jason and Magen have a special place in my life, partly because Magen was present at the birth of my youngest brother, and also because I’m able to see them and Abigail three times a week at church. I can’t wait to see Abigail grow up to be a wonderful, godly young lady, just like her mama. 🙂
