The Faulkner family is part of why I am the photographer that I am today. They were one of the first families, if not THE first, that ever asked me to take their pictures. The first time they stood in front of my camera was in 2010. Back before I even had a professional camera and I was using a free online program called PicMonkey for my editing. (oh dear. Let’s not even go there…) They helped me realize that I can actually do this photography thing and people will ask me to do what I simply thought of as a hobby.
Mr. Andy and Mrs. Khandra have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been their babysitter for years, until I got a job that kept me from spending my afternoons with Kendall, Rebekah, and Abby. Although at that time it was just “Bekah”. It’s been the hardest thing to admit that “Bekah” is growing up, now that she wants to go by Rebekah. But I’m trying. I really am.
Rebekah just exudes joy every time I’m around her. She’s silly, always ready to laugh, and can play some beautiful music on the piano.
Abby is just cute. That’s all you need to know. She’s sweet and so affectionate. Abby can always be depended on for an enthusiastic wave and hi, and most likely a tight hug every time she walks by.
Are they not the sweetest!?
Kendall is the king of baking. I’m constantly amazed when I hear the latest concoction he’s created or baked. It’s all delicious.
The kids all begged me to take a picture with them, so of course, I wasn’t going to say no. I love these three with all my heart, and can’t wait to see how they continue to grow.
